The Common Area Attendant plays a key role in in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our hotel by ensuring carpets in guest rooms, common areas and hallways are thoroughly cleaned and well- maintained. Additionally they may also assist with guest room cleaning, bell attendant duties, and carpet care, contributing to an exceptional guest experience. Job Summary: The Common Area Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining all the common areas of the Hotel. This may also include performing duties of Guest Room Attendant, Bell Attendant, and Carpet Cleaner. Greets all guests with an appropriate welcoming gesture, holding the door, and assisting guests with directions and questions as necessary. Cleans the five public Rest Rooms as well as the private Rest Room in Housekeeping: Clean mirrors, and counters Fill soap dispensers, replace Kleenex, refill paper towel dispensers, replace toilet paper, empty all trash cans, clean toilets, sweep and mop the floors, vacuum carpet entryways, and spray deodorizer when finished. These duties are to be repeated throughout the day as needed or requested.
