Interpretive Naturalist - Environmental Educator

Position Overview Crossroads at Big Creek is seeking an Interpretive Naturalist with strong teaching, organizational, and interpersonal skills to oversee our environmental programming and education efforts. In this role, you will lead collaborative initiatives, private field trips, public-facing programs, guided hikes, and other outreach efforts to encourage exploration and community engagement. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality educational experiences for formal school programs, public programs, special events, and community outreach. Create an annual work plan, develop program calendars, and continuously assess and improve programming. Collaborate with and cultivate relationships with area nonprofits, schools, and other community organizations. Work closely and collaboratively with other Crossroads staff, volunteers, and interns.
