The Oasis operates the historic AAA Four Diamond Inn and Ranch, restaurants, gift shops, and the world's lowest elevation golf course. Both hotels are open year-round and feature swimming pools fed by naturally warm local springs. We’re hiring a Security Guard to Live. Work. Explore. in Death Valley National Park! Job Summary: The Security Guard (We call it Fire Life Safety Officer) serves to provide personal safety for the guests, employees, and visitors of the Oasis at Death Valley. Undertake surveillance of premises and protection of staff and visitors. Responsible for detecting suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, theft, and other criminal behavior, along with first responder, firefighting, and transportation duties. The Details: Position Type: Full-time Year-round Only Start Dates: As soon as possible on next available check in date (approximately three weeks) Pay: $19.35/hr Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (will include weekends, evenings, and holidays) The Must Haves: Prior security experience or experience in a related field Valid drivers license Why the Oasis at Death Valley?
