Job Summary: The Railway Ticket Agent is responsible for ensuring all daily functions are completed at the Ticket Counter. Duties include but are not limited to ensuring accurate batching of train tickets, confirming reservations, answering phones and issuing/explaining train tickets to passengers. Responsibilities Fully understand and support Xanterra’s Mission Statement, Cultural Pillars, Community Commitment and Core Values. Daily batching: printing tickets, verifying special requests, processing collection required reservations. Ability to learn and maintain knowledge about the Grand Canyon Railway and Grand Canyon National Park Greet walk-up guests and make new reservations. Professionally communicate with all guests about the daily operation and schedule of the train. Answering phones and professionally making phone reservations. Provide information and offer additional services to guests to enhance their stay. Follow all cash handling policies and procedures.
